Clean floor, clean socks, clean feet - easy to use Swiffer Wet Jet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used the Swiffer Wet Jet a few times now and and every time, we are surprised at the amount of cleaning it does. Simple design and easy function makes this a great tool for cleaning floors. I only have one thing somewhat negative to say, the battery pack slips out easily when cleaning under chairs, tables ext, not a big thing you need only pop it back in but it is a little frustrating when it happens but all of the other time the cleaning is easy and very simple to use.

Swiffer Wet Jet is amazing!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will admit I had my doubts about how well it would clean my hardwood. I've had experiences in the past of smearing but not with this. It cleaned the floor beautifully. It's perfect for everything from small spills to the entire floor. I love it and wish I had tried it sooner!!

Made More of a Mess!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I've used a Swiffer Wet Jet Kit, and I was able to try if for free because of the BzzAgent Swiffer Campaign that I was invited to. I have laminate floors, and I typically use a floor-cleaning solution and a reusable microfiber pad on a stick mop. From the Swiffer commercials, I felt like I would love it, but I found it hard to assemble. The instruction pamphlet (like most instruction pamphlets) was lacking in details and clear illustrations. I think that manufacturers really miss the mark on giving the proper instructions with illustrations. Honestly, I would love to have a job at writing or illustrating manuals. I think that companies need to keep in mind that people like me who've never used their products need more than a vague set of instructions or illustration. I'm pretty intuitive, and I persisted until things finally worked. I almost gave up the assembly process several times. I found the bottle insertion almost impossible, but I finally just pressed a button and it clicked in. Again, if I weren't intuitive and had I purchased this at a store, I would have just boxed everything back up and returned the product.
I will write a different review of how the mop worked, but what really upset me (as shown in the photo) was that I leaned the mop handle up against my counter, and the weight of the bottle made the entire mop fall over ... taking with it an orchid plant that I had watered and rested on the counter. The force and weight of the mop tossed the plant to the opposite counter. I had to vacuum and clean up the mess .. ugh! I never have had a mop fall over like this. I'm so glad that I didn't have glass objects on the counter! It's bad enough that I had to clean up a just-cleaned floor, but to have a mop topple over and dump things on the floor and rug like this was maddening.
The scent of the product is a bit too pervasive and overwhelming. I mopped several hours ago, and I have a bit of a headache from the strong scent. It's not unpleasant, but it's too strong.
I had to use the stick/microfiber pad to sop up excess fluid, and my light didn't work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying the swiffer wetjet starter kit I will never use another product! This swiffer mop was very easy to put together and just start cleaning. Mopping has always been my absolute least favorite chore. The hassle and struggle of fitting a bucket under the faucet and lugging it around with a not so sanitary mop was so frustrating to me. With this all you have to do is change the pad, insert your solution and spray away! So easy and fun! Seeing all the dirt on the pad is also strangely satisfying. Love this swiffer product!

Sparkly clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like a clean home but hate to haul out a mop and bucket. The mop water gets so dirty that it seems as if the floor is being washed with dirty water, which completely defeats the purpose. I have used a few swiffer products but never this one. I am here to tell you that I have fallen in love. I don't ever have to worry about dirty mop water again. It worked beautifully on both my ceramic tile and my wood, which is miraculous in itself. It has not only done a fabulous job cleaning my floors, it has cut my cleaning time in half. I love love love the Swiffer Wet Jet floor cleaning system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must admit that I was not expecting the Swiffer Wet Jet Wood Kit to work so well, but it really does. It's super easy to maneuver around the floors, and the ability to spray out cleaning solution onto the floor in whatever amounts you choose is really nice. So far it's done a great job at getting all kinds of grime off the floors, some of which I didnt even see until after I ran the wet jet over the floor area and looked at the pad to see how much dirt was on it. Gross! But also, great! The only downside to this in my opinion is that it doesnt come with a re-usable pad, only disposable ones. This may be very convenient (it is) but it also feels a bit wasteful and I know these are just going to a landfill somewhere. So I got a reusable pad (the kind that come with the Bona wet mop) which I can just throw in the washer after cleaning, and I feel much better about the environment =)
