My floors look brand new!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it! I have an older model of the wet jet and really enjoy it but this new one is awesome. It brightens my floors both hardwood and tile. It even gets underneath my oven and refrigerator. I even used it in my powder room. It fit perfectly underneath the bathroom vanity and the small space between the wall and vanity. Love it!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kit includes everything you'd need to get the product going. Good instructions to put the solution and pad on, easy to follow and easy to get going. Only took a few minutes to be ready to start cleaning out of the box.
The solution has a pleasant smell and the mop is easy to push and maneuver. It does take awhile to dry and leaves streaks on my laminate floor. Also leaves the floor much more slippery than what I currently use. For a whole floor job in my kitchen, I was not pleased with the result.
However, the product is nice to grab for smaller messes and spills which happen often with a toddler. I have found I like using the Swiffer much more to spot clean quickly than do my whole floor. It does great cleaning up spilled liquids and food residue after my toddler tosses it from the high chair. The Swiffer is much easier to grab and go in these cases as I don't have to plug it in or anything.
I would prefer the pads not be disposable as that seems wasteful. Would be nice if they were cloth and could be laundered for reuse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a WONDERFUL product! We have white ceramic tile floors and they have to be mopped often and this Swiffer Wet Jet makes it fast and easy!! I let them go before I had a Swiffer Wet Jet and they looked awful!! Now I just pick up the Swiffer, spray and mop and they sparkle! HOORAY! So easy to do Now! One of the best and biggest surprises is my Husband will use it and he likes it!!
I keep it ready to go all the time and if I spot something of the floor I can grab the Swiffer Wet Jet and zip-zip it's clean again! I really love my Swiffer Wet Jet - it makes keeping my house clean so much easier and faster that now I have time to read - my greatest relaxation!
Next time I grocery shop I intend to try more Swiffer products - if they're all this good I'll get them all!!

Swiffer Makes Mopping Easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer Wet Jet is extremely easy to assemble. I was easily able put together the few pieces, add the cleaning fluid, and attach one of the cleaning pads. Once assembled, it's size makes it easy to store and move from room to room.
Before using the Swiffer Wet Jet, I vacuumed my wood laminate floor in the bathrooms and kitchen. Then, I attached a new cleaning pad to the Wet Jet, and set out to cleaning. I found that there is a definite balance to the amount of cleaning fluid to use. Too much results in sticky floors and residue while not enough does no deliver the proper cleaning power.
I also found that it is important to apply fairly firm pressure while using the Wet Jet. I cleaned the kitchen floor and, to test the cleanliness, wiped the floor with a paper towel. A significant amount of dirt came off the floor. I re-cleaned using the Wet Jet and the amount of dirt leftover after this cleaning was definitely less. Using firm pressure and vigorous motions definitely resulted in a better clean.
One of the best things about the Wet Jet is the portability! It definitely frees you from carrying around the bucket and mop and, to me, seems a bit more sanitary than traditional mopping. Plus, when cleaning is over, it is really easy to simply pull off the cleaning pad and dispose of it. Even my fiance doesn't mind cleaning the floors with the Wet Jet and that has now become a part of our cleaning routine!

Why can't everything be this easy?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think I've mopped my floors more in the last few weeks than I have in the last few months!!!
I normally would use either the Bona spray and mop or the Shark Steamer, both of which I THOUGHT I actually enjoyed using but that thought is past tense and that's about describes me use of my bona and steamer. When I'd use the bona I never really felt like I was actually cleaning my floors, it felt more
like a wax to me and it has no clean scent. The steamer was just steam and also no scent. With both of those products I never truly felt like my floors were being disinfected.
I'm honestly not sure why I've never used the Swiffer Wet Jet. Maybe I didn't realize I could use it on my hard wood floors? Or that it would actually clean my floors? Either way, I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner. What is more simple than sticking a pad to the mop, pushing a button to release the solution and start going to town? Nothing! It's as simple as that. And the best part of it all is how nice the solution smells. The entire house smells fresh and clean. I know my floors are getting clean too because you see the dirt right on the pad. It's actually kinda comforting knowing you're getting all that dirt off your floors.
I have 2 kids 2 dogs and a husband and I'm constantly sweeping, vacuuming and mopping my floors and I love how convenient the Swiffer Wet Jet makes it. I will never go back to the other products I've used.

sticky residue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The other day one of my kids missed the toilet all together and didn't tell me. I found the sticky dried puddle and immediately thought of the Swiffer Wet Jet. I had used it the week before in my tile bathroom to great effect. Sadly, the cleaning process did not go well in my hardwood bathroom. After passing the Swiffer over the floor many times it finally looked clean, but the floor was left with a tacky dull finish that was unpleasant both visually and to feel. I ultimately did have to pull out my old system to clean up with after effect of the Swiffer Wet Jet. I still feel it has its place in small spaces and on other finishes but will not be using it on my hardwood floors in the future.

Made cleanup a breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spilled a sticky substance on the floor and needed a quick clean up. We have insect problems in Hawai'i so it's important to get all the sticky cleaned up quickly. Fortunately I had just assembled my new Swiffer Jet, wet dry. In no time I had the mess cleaned up and the eraser strip made it look like new. Great product I'm looking forward to using it on my tile and pool deck too. Aloha

Great at deep cleaning, with caveats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a ceramic tile kitchen, and this is where I planned to first test out our new Swiffer Wet Jet. I definitely went in with a little knowledge of the limitations of what it can and cannot do - so I made sure to thoroughly sweep the floor to maximize the effectiveness of the Wet Jet. I will say it does an amazing job of getting whatever buildup you might have on your floor, but I found that it leaves behind a little bit of a sticky feel. This was easily remedied by taking some paper towel over the trouble spots, however not exactly something that I would want to do often. Another issue I had was that the little bit of pet hair that I missed while sweeping became stuck to the floor, and wouldn't be picked up
By the Swiffer itself. I attribute this to the fact that things may have been too wet. I think this product is best suited for maintenance of an already mostly clean floor - it was not great when there were things left over from sweeping, or when there was something stuck on the floor.
