Love the scrubbing pads

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the powerful scrubbing pads on the sweeper and the fact that they stay attached very well. I also think the dual nozzles are a major plus. It did a very good job of cleaning my floors. I would say my only negative point would be that it did not leave my floors as shiny as my usual brand of hard wood floor cleaner.

My Floors have NEVER been cleaner :-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say- I am IMPREESSED! Swiffer has done it again. I recently moved into a new home, which has hardwood floors throughout and I've been struggling with keeping them clean. However, after trying the wet jet, my problems are SOLVED! The sprayers dispense the perfect amount of cleaning solution on the floor and the cloth manages to collect pretty much everything that comes loose. I will never use a regular mop again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this product. I have used a swiffer many times but used the pre wet pads and go thru 2 in my kitchen each time. Using the wet jet allows me to just keep going without changing pads!

Much improved over older version

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a swiffer wet jet a few years back so it was nice to compare this new model to how it was back then.
I will start with the pros... 1) the cleaning pads are easy to attached and stay on wonderfully, and the little 'scubber' services help pick up quite a bit of dirt 2) the cleaning solution does a nice job lifting dirt on wood floors and it leaves a very pleasant aroma 3) the maneuverability of the cleaner itself is nice, very easy to get into corners and make turns. It isn't too big, so it is easy to get into tight spaces 4) the cross spray nozzles help cover a wider area with the spray vs. the conventional nozzle of the older version.
As for the cons... 1) It seems to go through a lot of cleaning solution. We used almost the entire sample bottle to clean our wood floors in our downstairs, where with other brand of cleaner we didn't use as much. 2) the handle didn't want to clip on correctly when first put together. Then when we tried to remove and reinstall it, the clip fell back into the bar itself and wasn't salvageable. So we had to use a screw to hold the two pieces together. 3) With larger hands it is very easy to accidentally hit the 'spray' button. While my husband was using it he kept bumping it when he was trying to clean. 4) The bottles are not easily refillable so you have to use their cleaning solution.
Overall I think that it does a great job cleaning up day to day floor messes. I think it is better suited for smaller spaces but an overall nice value for a floor cleaning setup. And if they would come out with refillable solution bottles that would be even better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is extremely easy to use. We have wood floors throughout 60% of the house & it breezed through the job in about the same time as just vacuuming the floors. No mess, no fuss. I would recommend this product to anyone with wood floors.

Doesn't live up to the hype

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second time we've tried one of these. We purchased one when they first came out and were disappointed in the results, now several years later, I don't see any improvement. In the ad's, it picks up all the dirt and leaves nothing but sparkling floors behind.
My real world testing was far different. I started out with sweeping the floor clear of all dust, this left only the dirt behind that a broom didn't pickup. The Wet Jet pads left quite a bit of debris behind, and even after swapping out the pads several times, there was still dirt left behind (see photo's).
I also didn't like that you can't control where the jets spray, they don't spray directly in front of the mop head, instead they shoot in two sprays at the periphery of the head.
In the end, I couldn't get the floor clean no matter how many pads I used, so I switched over to my trusty sponge map, and finished off with that.
Pro's:
Easy to assemble.
Easy to assemble.
Very simple packaging, no wasted space.
Might do well on surfaces with very little dirt, you might get better results that I did.
Con's:
Just didn't work for me. It's a mop, that doesn't clean very well.

Conclusion:
I was really hopeful that Swiffer had addressed the issues I had with the product in the past. Swiffer needs to figure out how to get the pads to retain more dirt/debris, and get the power sprayer to spray in front of the pad (not to the sides). My guess is that if you are only using this for very light dusting, it will probably be ok.

Easy to use and ideal for small spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleased with the Swiffer Wet Jet Starter Kit. It quickly and easily assembled and was ready to use within moments. I love it came WITH the needed batteries. In general, I prefer to use fully reusable systems, but sometime disposable is best. In places like the bathroom, I appreciate the easy and more sanitary one time use products and the Swiffer Wet Jet worked very well cleaning up even the yucky kids bathroom. Plus, it was so simple the kids themselves (boy age 10 and girl age 7) were able to help. I did feel the button to dispense the liquid is in a location I accidentally hit it several times. I expect that would improve with use. I suggested this system to my brother (small house, convenience is his #1 priority) and my parents for their camper as it is compact for such a small location. It will not replace my fully reusable system for my hardwood living room, but will be my go to for the bathrooms and quick spill clean ups in the kitchen.
