Not as good as I hoped

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer wet jet cleans slightly better than the Swiffer damp mop. The problems we encountered were: 1. The, not adjustable, handle is too long for my wife to use comfortably. She's only 5' tall.
2. The spray is too far in front of the cleaning pad. It's hard to get it just where you want it.
3. We have a tile floor. The spray collects in the grout between the tiles and does not get picked up or spread around by the pad.
Also, we could have used more detailed instructions on how to attach the pad.

Swifter wet jet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instructions were easy to understand and setup was a breeze. The design is great! What I didn't like was the cleaner. I didn't like the chemical smell and the buildup the cleaner leaves after multiple uses. It turns the floors hazy. I bought a wet jet when they first came out and was curious to see how much the cleaner had changed. Sadly it hasn't. I wish it was a more natural cleaner or a refillable bottle to use my own own cleaner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer is soo wonderful - you put the pad on and just spray and wash away all the dirt and grime on the floor! I use it all the time on my wood floors and ceramic tiles! It works perfectly without having the get out the dreaded mop & bucket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live rural where dirt is tracked in daily even with removing shoes at the door. We have a tri-level home and my new Swiffer Wet Jet is being used on the bottom level where it's all older but still nice laminate flooring. While waiting on my Swiffer Wet Jet, I had swept and mopped thinking it was nice and clean. Once I picked up my kit, I put it together and went over the whole area. I was amazed of the dirt I missed. The sponge mop I had used before pushed the dirt around and the Swiffer Wet Jet picked it up plus some and gave it a nicer shine. I like I don't have to rinse a mop or carry around a mop bucket. I gave it four stars since putting the pad on was tricky and I had to ask for help. Others didn't have problems with it so it was probably just me. If they can make the instructions easier for those like me, I'd give it five stars.

Good before but now BETTER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We previously owned a Swiffer WetJet but this new model combines the best of the old one with numerous improvements.
This new model has TWO jets to squirt out the cleaning solution angled so that you get twice as much solution on the floor a few inches in front of the head.
The new unit feels more substantial. The cleaning solution is housed in a little plastic chamber instead of just sitting on top of the older model.
The idea of the Swiffer WetJet is unchanged. You can really clean your floor as well as if you're on your hands and knees, except that you're standing, and just the push of a button releases as much of the cleaning solution as you need at each particular spot.

Good for light cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently received my Swiffer Wet Jet starter kit and was anxious to try it out. Initially I was very impressed. It assembled easily and did a very good job on our tiled kitchen floor. Left it clean and dried quickly. I then decided I would try it on our enclosed porch that has a smooth painted floor. It did clean well but it is a large area with area rugs. This made spraying the cleaning fluid a little tricky trying to get it on the painted surface but avoiding the rugs. On a clear floor the spray disperses nicely; not so much when you are trying to avoid rugs and other objects on the floor. In my kitchen it seems superior to a mop or squeegee, but around area rugs it is a bit more challenging. I will keep trying, but I'm not Annie Oakley so I may just limit its use to my kitchen and other open areas. It does a very nice job in those ares. It does store easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved the Swiffer Wet Jet! We just moved into a new house the week when I received it, and it couldn't have been more perfect! It is so easy to assemble and use. The jet is super strong with the cleaning product, it has a fantastic radius! Our house is all hardwood floor and this product is seriously the best! It is easy to store away due to it being very skinny, it fits in any closet. I would recommend this product to anyone!!

Great for tile floors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last year, we replaced our carpet with woodlike tile throughout our house. Since then, I've noticed just how dusty and dirty the floor would get with the dark tile.
We have a Roomba that runs daily. I have a floor steamer, as well, but I only use it on a monthly basis. I wanted something that I can use to clean the floors weekly or with spills since I have young children.
The WetJet definitely fits the bill! It's so easy to use that our three year old likes to help out with it!
I really like the scent, too.
The only problem I have with it is the button to spray the solution. I tend to hit it on accident...more than I want to. I would like it if it wasn't on the top of the mop. I feel like it wouldn't get bumped accidentally if it was like a trigger under the handle.
