Swiffer Wet Jet Wood Starter kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great! I have two little ones at home, 3 months old and 2 years old, so our wood floors are always messy. I have little time to clean, so anytime there is a product that makes cleaning easier, I'm in! The Swiffer Wet Jet for wood floors is so easy to use, and cleans great! The room had a nice clean smell after I used it, too! I would highly recommend this product!

So easy, keeping the floor clean is no longer a chore

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Swiffer products in the past with mixed feelings. Without a cleaning solution, the budget editions of their products didn't do much more than dust the floor, and the high end products seemed overpriced.
With the Wet Jet Wood Starter Kit, I am ecstatic to say it has addressed both of those problems! This is an incredibly simple product; upon opening the package, you pop in the cleaning solution, stick the handle into the base, and place a pad right onto the bottom. The pad is held on by a velcro-like technology, so there's literally nothing needed to be done to attach it other than placing the surfaces together. Push the button on the handle and a stream of cleaning solution will spray the floor in front of you!
The cleaning solution that comes with the product dries quickly and managed to remove all the hair and residues left behind by our 4-legged friends, and it left no smudges after walking around after cleaning. I am 100% happy with this product and I'm impressed with its simplicity and effectiveness.

Wow, this is so much better than the regular Swiffer Sweeper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe I hadn't tried this sooner. I have the regular Swiffer Sweeper and use it occasionally but this Wet Jet takes the prize. It is easy to use and really does get the tough spots off of the floor. The scent of the cleaning agent was amazing too. It smelled like a grassy meadow with a hint of floral. I am so happy with this product. Forget the regular mop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The second this box landed on my doorstep I ripped it open. I had to try the Swiffer Wet Jet Starter Kit that second. I did a super quick sweep of the house as my dogs like to bring it grass from outside. I put the wet jet together (super easy!) and started in the kitchen. I was immediately disgusted! Not with the wet jet but with my old kitchen mop! I did have to change out a few pads to do the entire down stairs of my house. The Swiffer gets under all my cabinets and reaches farther under my stove then my old mop. (Yes, my old mop, because that this is out for the trash!) I do wish the Swiffer got under my couch a little better but that is no big deal as my couch is easy to move out of the way and then back into place. Overall I would say totally worth it (and buying new batteries). I think I am going to give one of these to my mom for Christmas. She hates to mop(literally HATES it) so this might make it a little easier.

Stiffer wet jet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think it's Wonderful, it was easy to assemble, the pads and cleaning solution work great together, the scent of the cleaning solution was pleasant, but put a cleaning cloth in your pocket, when you spray too close to the baseboard it goes up the wall, it sprays really good.

Strong when Wet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Swiffer Wetjet starter pack this morning on a few surfaces to see how good the product is. I first started in our bathroom on tile after sweeping the floor. I was impressed how it easily removed grime and toothpaste from the surface without a great deal of scrubbing or effort. I finished around the toilet and it left the entire bathroom smelling fantastic and shiny.
Next, I took the SwifferJet to task on our hardwood floors. I decided to use a small test patch away from the traffic areas. It did not discolor or affect the wood in any adverse manner. In fact, It did clean the surface dirt , but if you are looking for this product to renew old wax buildup from wood you will be disappointed. You will need a different product if you are looking to clean more than th occasional boot mark or sofa spill.
Finally, I used the scrubber side ( each disposable pad has a dual surface for cleaning regular stains or a scrub side for more stubborn jobs) on the linoleum surface in our mud room. The floor is a black and white checkerboard pattern and it's the most difficult to clean and keep clean. Initially, I didn't think it was doing a great job on the stains so I decided to squirt a bit of the cleaning solution on the problem area to soak and then scrub. It was amazing how well it did to remove the stain and refresh the floor. Overall I think it's an excellent product worth a try for any home.

Quick, easy, effective, and cost efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several different types of flooring in my home so I’m always trying to find the most versatile, but effective tool on the market – without breaking the bank. I have treated hard wood floors, premium vinyl flooring, and marble tile; all of which I try to be extra careful what kind of products I use to clean them. So having the peace of mind that my hard wood floors won’t be damaged is kind of a big deal to me. I also like that I have the option of switching out the solution bottle for the other options available by Swiffer depending on my preference or need at the time.
The Good: Honestly this was really easy to put together. I have found in the past that a lot of products have numerous different attachments that you either lose or can’t jam in place correctly – this took less than 3 minutes from box to use. It’s lightweight, and has a loop at the top for hanging, is flexible and easy to maneuver – which ultimately means less time spent cleaning for me! I was actually pretty impressed by the strength and distance of the stream/spray; it lasted longer than I expected so I didn’t have to constantly press the button. Initially, I did a sample test on a small portion of my wood and was shocked at how dirty my floors were – yikes! We have more than a few dogs, which lead to lots of dirty paws, hair, and potty accidents. My favorite part is that it surprisingly picked up the dog hair so easily that I didn’t have to vacuum after! Oh and even better, the smell of the solution was always pleasantly surprising. I am extremely sensitive to smells and fragrances, so for my house to actually smell nice after cleaning instead of like an antiseptic factory is fantastic.
The Bad: Batteries; I think they’re becoming a thing of the past so finding out in the middle of my cleaning session that I then need to hunt down 4 more AA batteries is a hassle; a quick plug in charge would be better. Although, I know it would get much more expensive when we add that into the mix. I also really wish the pads were reusable. I find myself trying to use each pad for as long as physically possible, to save more money. If we could throw them in the wash after each use I think I would probably die and go to heaven…ok maybe I’m exaggerating a bit.
Ideally, I would give it a 4.5 stars. Quick, easy, effective, and cost efficient – I’m in. Make it rechargeable and the pads reusable and I would never need to buy another mop for the rest of my life!

Great for mild cleaning of hardwood floors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a really good product for mild cleaning. However, if you have a high traffic area that tends to have more than just a mild dust, such as dirt or food spots, this might not be the product for you. This is more of a finishing product rather than a deep clean product. I had not recently mopped my floors before using the Swiffer Wet Jet and I felt like it did a good job of getting rid of the dust, but I felt like it left a smeared look due to the grime that had collected on the floors since the last time I did a deep cleaning mop. I do think this is a great product for a quick clean of dust between deep cleans!
