Cheaply made, styrofoam in the ventilation area, consistently freezes up.

I got this during the heat wave this summer because it was much too hot (93 degrees inside) from the heat radiating from the attic of the condo. I had to send the first one back because the temperature sensor was faulty - it shut off 5-6 degrees higher than the actual temp (ie it shut off when it thought it was 75, but it was really 80). The second one had the same problem. Frigidaire doesn't fix this model price point, so they wanted it to be exchanged yet again. To their credit, when I explained that I couldn't carry it up and down stairs, pay the super for installation etc. They offered to buy it back. The unit works pretty well, but the sliders for the window are flimsy, and despite what it says, it's noisy. I probably wouldn't buy it again. But, due to the customer service and buy back offer, I would probably give them another chance with a different model.

I bought a few different brands which did not perform to my expectation until i found this AC. It works great and keeps the room cool throughout the summer. Great product.

Let's cool off

We purchased 2 of these and installed 1 upstairs and the other downstairs. In a 1600 square foot area containing the upstairs with the downstairs, it keeps the place cool without even going beyond the lo/cool setting. They're amazingly quiet and cools the entire place to 68 degrees in less than 25 minutes. Keep cool, my friends.
