Great little camera

I am a semi-professional photographer and I wanted a camera to keep in the car for the moments I just needed to "snap" something quickly and not have to carry my pro camera everywhere. Well, this little gem is great. Great size, great pix, easy to use, love it.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Menu is a little difficult to use

Worked well right out of the box after battery was charged. Needed A/V cable # AD39-00146A But it was not listed on samsung web site ,although it is listed in the quick start manual as optional accessories. No retailers had it in stock.

Snapshots to movies

The one thing about this camera that could be a little better is the ease in switching to "camera" mode to "movie" mode. Ideally, there would be one flip of the switch. The only way I have found to do it is to go "mode," then work my way to get to what I would like to do. I would like a single switch opportunity.

This compact digital camera has a fantastic zoom/pixel combination. It can fit easily in one's pocket and comes with a protective plastic case. An overall great buy.

YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET THAT IS FOR SURE. THE CLOSER YOU ZOOM IN, THE MORE UNCLEAR THE PICTURE BECOMES. TOO SLOW TO TAKE PICTURES OF FIREWORKS. ANY KIND OF INDOOR MUSEUM...WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BRINGING THIS CAMERA WITH YOU. PICTURES WILL TURN UP TOO DARK OR SO BRIGHT AND BLURRY YOU CANT SEE WHAT YOU EVEN TOOK A PICTURE OF TO BEGIN WITH.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, some filters make pictures blurrier, horrible at freeze frame shots, pause in between pictures, accompanied software is too basic
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
