Great for 1.5 years then stops working

I bought this unit December 2016, and now May 2018 not functioning. First the door would not latch, then all power stopped working. Will cost almost as much as purchasing a new microwave to repair. At this point if I am buying new, I will seek out another brand.

Mine is like new, and I've had it since 2012

I bought this in 2012 when I remodeled my small kitchen, as a way to save countertop space. It is vented through the roof, and it has every feature I wanted. I have used it daily, repeatedly, for six years and it works just as well, and looks just as good, as the day it was installed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I brought my microwave 2015. About six months ago the light over oven you couldn't turn off no biggie just stopped using it. Now it heats when it gets ready. I bug investment only to last 3 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like the appliance functionality. Hoping I an get a grill cover strip for the top front to cover the opening so that grease/dust in the air cannot penetrate inside the vent area over time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Range microwave is a worse one I never have

I love Wirlpool appliances, but not this one. after used about a year, the microwave does not work when the door close. It has been siting there forever. I never had a microwave like this one

Great price & performance but only last 1yr. 6mos.

Was very happy with the product until it started making weird sound when pushing a button to begin heating process. The sound would not happen every time but finally in the last attempt to use it, a weird sound occurred and then the oven omitted an electrical burn odor. Since we were afraid it may cause a fire we unplugged it from the wall and have not used it since.

Door Issues

This microwave worked great until the other day it started saying the door was open when it wasn't. Because it thinks the door is open you are not able to use it. We bought this house brand new and the builder installed all Whirlpool appliances. Very disappointed that the microwave has failed already.
