Outstanding Appliance

We just had to replace our dishwasher a couple of months ago, then our gas range last week. Both occasions went with the Whirlpool models. Our old microwave wasn't stainless steel as was our new oven and dishwasher, so we purchased this Whirlpool microwave to match. Wow! What a difference 10 years makes! Since our prior microwave was used primarily to pop popcorn and steam some veggies, it was the most under-used thing we owned. Not any more! This micro-wave has so many great features, I don't know where to start! I love the electronic touch pads.I love the overall design and the sturdy outside stainless steel handle.The 1.7 cu.ft. size is amazing for our needs. Even larger items fit with no problem. Even while using the vent, it is extremely quiet each time we run it.Additionally, the Food User Guide that is placed right on the bottom panel inside the door saves time and reminds me of the time saving features. Sensor cooking, the add 30 second touch-pad, preset pads for popcorn, potatoes and pizza, and the Food User Guide to pick just the right selection for reheating, cooking or just defrosting.The Whirlpool microwave has been a perfect addition to our newly updated Whirlpool kitchen. Since our home was built 10 years ago and included all the appliances, the fridge will be next to go and Whirlpool will definitely be our choice.

Low-Priced Awesome-Looking Microwave

Works how you'd expect a microwave to work. Nice and spacious, easy enough to mount. Removed 1 star because the door sags a little bit. Worth the money? Most definitely.

Does the job

This microwave was the standard model from our homebuilder. It does the job, but occasionally will not start due to an error with the door. The screen says the door is open when it's not. You have to then open the door and close it, and then it will start.
I would recommend this to a friend!
