Heats food FAST

This microwave heats food very quickly! It has been a learning curve for me on how long to heat certain foods because the times I allowed foods to cook in my last microwave is cut down by 1/3 with this microwave. I wasn't impressed with the cheap looking white interior, but the function is what matters most to me and it works well so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great microwave for the money

The microwave is a powerhouse. It defrosts frozen meat BEAUTIFULLY! Does a great job at re-heating evenly as well. Only odd issue is about two months into its use, the tray now makes a rattling noise as it circulates. The plastic wheels look fine, the glass is fine. I clean the oven meticulously so it is not an issue of needing to be cleaned. Just can't figure out why the plastic wheel base circle seems to have developed a rattle; almost like it's warped but it's not. Even so, microwave works great so I'm happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave is doing well for me. However, I could have used a handy little "how to" booklet when I used it for the first several times. Also miss a "keep warm" button.

poor quality - needs parts already

Right now, we cannot write a good review. Our microwave was delivered 11/17. We had kitchen work done and were not able to use it for about 3 weeks. When we did use it, there were problems. The magnetron would engage and cook and then shut off. After a minute or so, the magnetron would engage and start cooking again. Repair man came 12/29 and said new parts are needed. We have not heard when these parts will come so our microwave can be fixed. Instead of parts, I wish we had demanded a whole new unit. We are very disappointed in Whirlpool. If parts are not received in a reasonable time or we hear when they may arrive, we will return to the store and demand satisfaction.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
