innards came apart

Came with our new house, and within a month, had to call the appliance store. It had come apart inside on top. After unscrewing the top, he finessed it back into place, and said sorry. Not a very good start to a new machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this microwave to replace a counter top model that we had for about 15 years. Our children are finally tall enough to reach an above the range microwave, which my wife has wanted for quite a while. I found the installation to be very straight forward and was able to complete it alone (I was fortunate that the cupboards had been hung with straight lines and everything lined up flush. I have had very good luck with the reheat settings (we do very little "cooking" with our microwave, mostly reheating and boiling). This model is quieter than our previous Kenmore, it heats food evenly and we have not had a problem fitting any of our dishes in it. I do not use the exhaust fan very often, but it is quieter than the hood fan that I removed and the the light below the microwave is also better than the light provided by our hood unit, because it is a more focused light and closer to the range burners. The only feature that we miss is "quick on" for a 2 button start when you want High power for 1, 2,3.... minutes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's easy to use and looks great also. Every meal we have cooked in this has came out great. Also heats up everything quickly.

The wattage could be higher, like 1200. The fan is very loud on high and can also be herd loudly in the room connected to the microwave. Overall, the microwave works good and is easy to use.
