We needed a basic microwave to replace the one that broke. This one was a good price and so far it seems to work fine. Our only complaint is the lack of a decent instruction book or better instructions on the display. They're woefully inadequate for anything more than reheating coffee or other simple tasks.

This microwave is so much nicer than ones I have had previously. I like that I can set the time without having to put in a date every time we lose power. I like the way it cooks far more evenly than previous brands. I also like that it just does a nice length beep when done...not a continuous, long, annoying one.
