Love this refrigerator! The slate finish is so easy to maintain. Tons of room inside and love that everything is moveable and adjustable.

Compressor too loud

The high efficiency compressor on this model is way too loud. Constantly running and making a pulsating sound. Will be returning for this reason.

Hi, Thanks for sharing your concern and giving us a chance to help. We're sorry for any inconvenience with the sound level. The foam insulation used in new refrigerators has excellent insulating capabilities and is very energy efficient, however it is not as sound absorbent as previously used fiberglass insulation. Depending on the placement of the refrigerator in your kitchen, you may want to place a piece of rubber backed carpet beneath the refrigerator to help reduce the compressor and other sounds.
