I bought the strainer and the mincer 2 weeks ago and I found this attachments fantastic! I minced 1kg of beef and 1 kg of pork in less than 20 minutes, cleaning time included. And speaking about cleaning, the process is so easy and quick that I could note wish more. I also made an Italian passata, and it was amazing!

So when I was a teen out local (country) butchers would make home made sauce and the best cheese and vegimite snags, but I moved away but my mum got the recipe and with this double feature attachment I can make both and thanks to Kitchenaid I can make a taste of home.

This is perfect for tomatoes, quick and efficient. Only feedback would be that it can be a bit difficult to clean around the spring, could be designed a bit better so the fruit doesn't get into it. Also, the top tray could be a bit bigger to avoid spilling unprocessed fruit into the processed bowl. Otherwise, it does the job well, I'm very happy with it!

I bought this for pasatta, and it does a fantastic job with tomatoes. I did a small batch of 20 kilos withouth a problem with the help of me 9 year old niece. The only thing I found with my lift head machine was I needed a bigged bucket for less splashing (its taller obviously). And I put a put of glad wrap on the front under the seed skin removal bit so none of that fell back into the 'processed'tomato bucket. This was only because of the height I think. If you had a tilt head mixer, it might not be an issue. Love it.

When I bought my Kitchenaid appliance I had no idea that there where so many additional attachments. I was looking for something to help me make passata and I came across this attachment for my Kitchenaid mixer. Not only can I juice vegetables but also mince meats and make sausages. I received my new attachment last week and have already made Thai chicken meatballs with peanut sauce which was delicious. I can’t wait for tomato season to begin so I can make my passata. Thumbs up!
