Disappointed

The design, ease of use and sound quality all are very good. But after less than two years, the CD drawer is no longer working. I won't mess with trying to get it fixed because, of course, the repairs would cost almost as much as a new unit. Overall, this is not the quality I have come to expect from Philips, and I am very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our Philips entertainment system DC 156 was good for a couple years , then the CD player does not work anymore. Disappointed

We put a cd in player and it starts reading ,then it reads no cd. CD player on this don't work. Disappointed . I wish I knew how to fix it. I suspect it's the lens reader for the CD player. If I could get the parts , I would fix it myself. Too bad, because it's a great little unit with great sound.
Pros: great sound
Cons: disappointed with the cd player not working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
