Works great!

I bought this yesterday even though many reviews said they had issues setting it up or the microphone didn't work. I looked at a few places in my area then happened to run across this one at Sams. I'm glad I found it! I don't need an expensive system, just want to be able to watch the outside of my house while I'm gone. I didn't have any issues setting it up (I'm by no means a IT expert) and the 2 way speaker works fine. It has notified me 2 times so far of outside movement at my house. It's not intended for outdoor use I don't believe. I have it sitting in a window but there is a glare at night so I may sit it outside where it can't get wet. The picture isn't perfect, but it's good enough for me! I paid $80 for it at SAMS Club so I think I got a pretty good deal!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Setup and cheap price

The camera was a great buy and i am happy with the image quality. The Setup was easy But i had to call tech support to get the two way audio to work. Techs let me know there was an update coming to get it working again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The best investment for your home!

Bought our first Night Owl system 2 years ago, a 16 camera DVR setup for a vacation house. Loved the product so much got the wireless setup for inside the primary house and a 8 camera wired setup for outside to secure the property. Totally love these wireless units. We have no problem with them. It takes getting used to how to actually use them after using a wired setup. But we remote view from android phones, downside is you must go in and out of the units instead of multi units on one screen. The pan and tilt is mounted on the ceiling and unlike other brands, you can view the image perfectly as if you were standing in the room. Total darkness is no problem either. 100% worth every penny you will spend to secure your home and property from any type of vandalism.

Easy to use

I purchased this product for its easy installation. It took a couple of minutes, but it finally started to read on our phones. Both my hubby and I can view from each phone. Still playing with it, but happy already with results. Didn't even have to drill holes any where just placed where best view. Now I will purchase an additional camera. Plus. we can move the camera to a different location based on the need at any time. Luv it. dummy proof

Remote Viewing

I bought this from advice from a friend. I am glad I did.
The capability of seeing who came into the viewing screen is a major plus in my book, especially when strangers are just coming up and seeing if the door is locked or not at a home! Smile, Night Owl gotcha covered!
I am trying to get the IP addess and monitor the smiles captured 900 miles away!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Android app a bit wonky

MUST use BlueTooth to initially add camera to smartphone. Profile not always functional, had to delete and add again twice so far in 4 days.

We have two of these units, one in the family room and one in the utility area where the main water shut off is, installed two large thermometers in each area and can watch the temperature of the rooms when we are 1000 miles from home in the winter when traveling. Can not believe the quality of the pictures in HD.
