My husband and I are both using the stamina orbital rower - listening to music and getting the heart rate going. It's awesome to get some exercise on the large muscles and flatten stomachs, tone arms. We love it!

This is not for people who want the feel of a skinny row boat. This is for people who want the feel of a heavy wooden row boat, which is what I wanted. This will help build arms and upper torso. Also, I discovered that I could turn around on the seat and rather than pull on the arms, one can push too. Which is great as the upper back muscles are now activated.
One minus: the rotary handles/locks to place and lock the resistance can slip. I had to over tighten mines with a pair of pliers. Having bigger rotary handles would negate that problem.
