I had been wanting a rowing machine for a while, mostly as a more interesting cardio alternative to the stepper or treadmill, but didn’t really have the space in my apartment. This rower is compact, but well-made and you get a good sweat going in a short amount of time. It does really well working your arms and abs (I haven’t even had to move the resistance up yet) and has a wider range of motion than traditional rowers. I only have a couple of criticisms: one being that the footrests rock back and forth when they should be designed to hold in place. Additionally, even though this is an older design, setup would have been a lot easier with allen screws or regular screws instead of bolts. Adjustable wrenches are kind of a pain lol. But other than that, I’m really enjoying this machine, and although I still prefer the magnetic rowers, this one’s a pretty good alternative for my small space.

The Stamina 1215 Orbital Rower was a good investment for me. Worth the money. Machine was easy to assemble. The adjustment levels can be set to any resistance level desired. Operates quietly.

Excellent machine to give you a good work out of your upper body and your legs. Very high quality and the best instructions on putting your machine together I've ever seen. Illustrations on the different parts, bolts, and nuts was very good which made putting it together much easier. Highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a very good exercise machine.

Easy to assemble and use. Easiest tension number has enough tension so it will take awhile to move to next tension level. This is great as it will take time to move to hardest tension making this a worthwhile machine. Length is 4 feet so it will fit anywhere.

Rower has worked well for a few weeks, but two days ago, I noticed that after using the machine for about 30 minutes, there was some slippery fluid near the bottom of the right-hand shock, and some on the floor under the machine. Additionally, the right-hand shock now seems to offer slightly less resistance. I am currently looking into whether the shock needs to be replaced under the warranty.

I am not a fitness guru but after 3 weeks I do enjoy my rowing machine. Some physical problems prevent me from certain activities which are hard on my joints. The rower is proving to be much better for me. Even on the lightest setting of 5 I do find the movement is very stiff though. I am getting accustomed to that and hope it loosens up over time.
