Great phone overall - few things to work on
on December 26, 2009
Posted by: ExpertPhoneRater123
Overall, this phone is great. First, I'll start with the good. This phone is a windows mobile device so it has Word, PPT, Excel and OneNote. It also has outlook, and windows media player. Also included with the phone is a fingerprint scanner. This is great!! You can set up your biometrics and use it to unlock the phone. The other thing about the fingerprint scanner is that you can use it as a scroller on your contacts list, or your other long lists.
The touchscreen is a dragon model. Unlike the Iphone you press and drag instead of flick. The camera is amazing. A 5 megapixel camera is great on this phone that can do just about everything
However, being a Windows Mobile phone this phone does freeze once in a while. The battery isn't great for those who use all the functions this phonw has. Remember to charge it everyday.
The homescreen is customizable along with all the apps. This makes it easier to use. The slide out QWERTY is great. For those who don't want it there is also a virtual QWERTY.
Overall, this is a great phone. The only con is the occasional freezing. At first, this phone is kind of complicated to use, but after some getting used to it is very user friendly.
Pros: camera/video quality, games, good for texting, menus, speaker, tools, Wi-Fi capable, features
Cons: battery life, freezes
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best professional phone on the market. PERIOD!

I researched countless phones before deciding on this one and let me tell you I'm glad I did. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 and by all accounts it can be upgraded to Windows Mobile 7. Active Sync works great and with the built in adobe reader I'm not tied to my laptop. The battery runs quick if you forget to go to multitasking and close the windows you're not using anymore. You get used to the stylus and how can you not like the biometric lockout! Sure it freezes now and again but so do most Widows mobile phones. This is an outstanding phone- you won't be sorry if you get one!
Pros: tools, Wi-Fi capable, multitasking, microsoft office mobile
Cons: battery life, freezes

Great Phone, very versatile

I've had this phone for a few weeks now, and I really like it. Coming from a Blackberry, the keyboard takes a little time to get used to, but with larger keys and more space I find that I can now type faster then on the smaller BB keyboard.
Multi-tasking is great. Very solid web browser, nice camera, great support for MS Office applications, and good call quality.
I also really like the fingerprint sensor navi pad. Much easier and cooler to use then a password to lock your phone.
Have not gotten the Pico projector yet, but I've heard they are pretty sweet.
Only con is the touch screen is not as responsive as my iPod Touch and WinMo is not 100% finger friendly.
Pros: camera/video quality, durable, good for texting, menus, tools, Wi-Fi capable, fingerprint sensor
Cons: touch screen sensitivity

Best WM Phone PERIOD!!!
on December 23, 2009

I absolutely love this phone. I am coming from a IPhone 3GS and it was tough to switch back to another windows mobile phone, But I am glad I did. I mainly use my phone for personal use e-mail, texting, facebook and I do a bit of gaming/programming. This phone out of the box ran every windows mobile app I threw at it. It handled every emulator at 60FPS at full screen or near full screen.
Web browsing on this phone is far superior to my IPhone 3GS (with skyfire of course!) I would recommend if your on the fence about purchasing a WM phone this is hands down the best one I have used.
Battery life is not a issue for me for some reason.
I have managed to make it threw the last couple days without charging until bed time (Not once did my IPhone make it all day) and I am a pretty heavy user. Playing PSX games for atleast a hour or more a day and still kicking to the end is impressive by me.
My biggest con with this phone is not having a built in stylus slot. WM 6.5 is not 100% touch friendly yet (wait for cooked roms people!), But with the sensor for hightlighting and having a OK key on the qwerty it will make due for now!
Pros: camera/video quality, durable, ease of use, games, good for texting, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, snapdragon!!!
Cons: nothing yet !

watch out iphone!

this phone has everything i need in a phone, texting, emailing (including outlook), touchscreen, productivity (word, calendaring, sync features, the web, and a complex but non-complicated user interface. it also, unlike the iphone can play music from a variety of sources. it's a mini-computer that you can use to make calls! i no long use my iphone for calling and email and texting. it was my toy of the past. i need a device that can cross many different lines of use...if only i could sync it with my mac. also this phone allows you to customize it, which is also a great feature! now i just need the pico projector...hope it is released soon!
Pros: battery life, camera/video quality, durable, ease of use, good for texting, menus, speaker, tools, Wi-Fi capable

Pretty good phone expect to have a horrible batter
on January 2, 2010

The phones good in all but if you're a texting kind of person not the best. sometimes it doesn't pick up a letter here or there and the space button like dents in after awhile but other than that the phone is overall pretty good. The battery on my LG VU was better than this but what can you expect from a phone that just came out with so many applications already.
Pros: camera/video quality, durable, ease of use, speaker, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: battery life, freezes
