We were looking to upgrade to HDTV and kept following ads and sales. This TV was the best deal available and we are extremely happy that we bought it. It was easy to install (on the wall). Sharp Customer Service is extremely helpful. The picture is sharp (no pun intended) and the color is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Picture sharp, shows colors well and sounds excellent
Pros: great tv
Cons: difficult for one person setup, takes a couple of seconds to come on

I bought this TV and I absolutely love it. I previously had a Sharp TV and it lasted for over 20 years so I knew Sharp was a good brand and after some recommendations I chose a 40 inch 1080p Sharp Aquos TV. I am so happy I bought this TV. I was looking to purchase a 32 inch TV but the Sharp Aquos was on sale so I got a really good deal on it. I highly recommend Sharp Aquos.

The AQUOS has a superior picture and sound over other Sharp TV's that do not have the AQUOS name. It is simply the best LCD TV on the market.
Pros: picture sound ease of adjustability, aquosadvantage
Cons: lack of ability to use usb port for viewing photos

flat screen

We currently have three TV's and they are all SHARP. Replaced an RCA that was 18 years old and never had any repairs. Hopefully this Sharp AQUOS wil be equal to the RCA. The flat screen is what we upgraded too. The AQUOS appears to be fine except the VOLUME is very low.
Pros: hd tv is what we were looking for.
Cons: volume is poor. (very low on highest setting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Picture!

I am really impressed by the quality of the video on this display. It handles rapid motion very well, I've not seen any "blocking" in the image.
Pros: handles rapid motion with no "blocking", zoom/stretch is very good little distortion.
Cons: long re-sync if the source changes resolution

MY SHARP LC40 IS A GREAT BUY. FAR BETTER THAN I WAS EXPECTING. PLUS I STILL OWN A SHARP TV I PURCHASED OVER 12 YEARS AGO. IT' STILL HAS A GREAT PICTURE AND SOUND.
Pros: good quality for the price
