Great picture and sound

I am very pleased with my Sharp TV. People always comment on how good the TV looks, also as I have said above the sound is great and the picture is very clear. I also like the looks of the TV

Great television, support not what expected.

The sound is very good, the picture is fantastic and some of the options (such as disabling some unused inputs) are very helpful. I have owned and viewed many televisions that have run the gamut from a few hundred to several thousand dollars. Given a choice of any one of them, this would still be the one in my home. It easily holds it own against much more expensive sets. There are only 2 cons I can think of. One is that some of the controls are not very intuitive... but that can probably be rectified by my reading the manual more thoroughly. I have not. The second is that there was a problem with the base it mounts into. The holes were not machined well and the screws did not fit. I called customer service and they dispatched the local service sub-contractors. Upon waiting a week or so after their visit, I was told that I would have to deal with the retailer as it was not covered by Sharp. This was disappointing to say the least. Obviously the retailer did not want responsibility for a manufacturing error so I did not get a satisfactory resolution from anybody. I fought the urge to return it entirely and ended up jury-rigging the mount. An absolute shame for a brand new television of this cost. The television is just that nice... I kept it anyway. Although I will keep the support experience in mind when making future purchases.
Pros: picture, sound, value
Cons: some complex controls, problem with support

Software Update

The first time I turned the TV on everyone talked about how clear and smooth the picture was. Had the color set to where most channels looked really good, then I did the update for the software,and now the color is off, it changes from channel to channel and there is like a light mist over the screen, the colors are not vivid anymore due to this mist or whatever it is. Pretty satisfied with this TV until it updated
Pros: sound very good, love the live customer service
Cons: updates messed color up very slow turning channel
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Sharp Aquos

I bought my Sharp LED television a couple of months ago and I'm very happy with the product. I had to call Sharp to assist me with some minor setting issues and they talked me through it without a hitch. They have great customer service and I learned that if you buy and Aquos line of product, you will be placed in an elite group for customer support! The picture quality is great and the features are outstanding. There's something to be said about the yellow colors on this set. They are better than any other tvs I've looked at.
Pros: great colors, options are endless, blu-ray pictures are great!
Cons: may need a soundbar in larger rooms
I would recommend this to a friend!
