When I first bought this, I was so pleased. Now after 4 months, I am disappointed.
At first it was very quiet, now it is very loud. You can see and feel the vibration where the pump is.
I had a tech out and he said that ALL front loading machines end up noisy because the pump is against sheet metal.

I am not happy with this and intend on doing something about it.
Cons: noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

love my washer

I would give it a 5 if it had a spin only option. I've had for a year with no problems. I wash huge loads, where I can't stuff any more items in there and it does a great job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I even do the Laundry now

We ended getting a pretty decent deal on this washer, but we still debated whether or not to go with the LG or the Samsung. We went with the Samsung, and to our suprise the warranty on it (which is why we felt better about the LG at first) was equal or better on this unit.
Needless to say I don't normally do the laundry in our house. It was more of a gift for my wife to help her as our other laundry machines sounded like it might take off into outer space, and just wasn't getting things clean. Now I do laundry. Not all the time, but it's just amazing how it gets our clothes clean. First time it ran in our house i had to keep going to the machine because I just didn't believe it was on. This thing even took on our queen size comforter no problems! Couldn't be happier about our purchase, and My wife loves it to.
The only downside I can think of is that the washer takes longer than the dryer. Just something that takes a little bit of time getting used to.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, quiet, energy efficient!
Cons: wash time can be long
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this model of washer in June. I now love to do the wash, OMG! this washer uses sooo much less water and detergent and cleans soo much better. It's truly a delight. I replaced my 15 year old Sears washer and I was surprised to see the same price on the back of my old washer that I paid for my new washer. Great job Samsung!

Does not clean as well as the old top load washers but it is a good value and the space saved from stacking really helps.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: doesn't clean as well as top load designs

This thing is great. I ditched a fifteen year old top loader for this and this is very quite, cleans well, uses less water and is overall carefree.
I know when I put clothes into this machine, regardless of how dirty they went in, they'll come out clean.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, efficient
Cons: would have like to switch the door to open the way
I would recommend this to a friend!

A few problems

If washer is located a REALLY long way from the hot water heater, it may not get hot in the tub because the washer uses minimal water. The water in the pipe between the water heater and washer is cold,and the washer fills with cold water before the hot water reaches the washer. BUT I WANT TO SAY THAT THIS MAY JUST BE MY PERSONAL PROBLEM AND OTHERS MAY NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM.
I had a problem with the washer vibrating ("dancing".) My floor is smooth concrete and, while spinning, the washer moved up to 18 inches on my floor. I solved this problem by placing rubber pads under the four feet that would grip the floor under the feet of the washer.
This washer is definitely not as quite as the manufacture claims it to be. When it spins, it can be loud -- this somewhat depends on the amount of cloths loaded in the washer.
It would be nice if I could enter the time that I wanted the washer to run instead of having to use the times that is determined by the washer. For example, for a pillow I would like to only rinse and spin which would only need 10 minutes.
Pros: i would buy it again if needed
Cons: heavy to pack but once in place not really a prob, feet need greater surface area to grip floor

Not very good quality

The machine was really quiet at first, but it got very loud after just 3 months. Especially when it runs the rinse and spin cycle.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations
