I have had this washer for about a month and I am really pleased with the job it does. It does not have water left standing in the gasket like my previous brand did. The clothes come out clean and dry quickly. I like the choices of water temp and spin speed and the simplicity of operation. My only problem is that it seems to bounce a little when it first starts to spin, just until it gets balanced and when it stops spinning it does it again. This may be a problem that can be fixed by releveling it: I will have to try it. It is not as quiet as I expected, but still it is not what I would call loud. Overall a very good quality washer with a fair price.

Better than I expected

This washer works great. Uses very little water and soap. On some cycles, it takes a long time to complete. Overall, this is a great washer, especially for the price.
Pros: Inexpensive, uses very little water
Cons: can take a long time to wash

Our clothes come out "CLEAN" what a machine !!! Very easy to read instructions and start.. RUNS VERY QUIET !!! So much better than our old one ! Researched this and found it is rated very highly. and in Customer Service !! .SAMSUNG, you out did yourself when you made this washer !!! THANK YOU !! so very much !!! I AM NOW an AVID SAMSUNG BUYER !!!

Very good washer. Takes a little more time to cycle through but the results have been very good. Clothes come out only slightly moist hence the dryer will run a shorter period of time saving you money.

This washer is incredible! It holds a huge amount of clothing, uses very little water, has many options to choose from! I have only had to wash a couple of very soiled items over. The spin cycle is ridiculous-in a good way! Cuts down on energy for drying! I love the digital selector, the pleasant tones and tunes it plays. I love that it does such a fantastic job AND saves energy! I can honestly say this is the best washer I have ever used!!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, efficient

Hesitant to buy a front load washer--always used top loaders. This works like a charm-clothes come out clean--amazing considering the 3 boys agers 5-15, and a 2 year old girl. Works nicely with matching dryer. Uility bills went way down.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Wondering what the future with this washer will be like

I have read nearly all the reviews for this washer on this site, and on others, and nearly every single review that is positive has owners who have only used their machine for up to 12 months. This makes me very very nervous because the ones who have complaints or negative comments about their machines have owned them for over 12 months to a few years. I can understand going online shortly after a purchase (which is exactly what I am doing) to share how awesome a new appliance is, but when it breaks down or starts to mold, do people come back and update their reviews? I doubt it. Unless it's really bad, in which case you see terrible reviews several years after purchase. So, what about someone who has owned the machine for a year or two but has no complaints? Where is that population? I am worried now that my machine will have trouble, thanks to the troubling reviews I read on other sites. I take the "new owner" reviews with a large grain of salt; of course they love their machines, they are brand new! But what happens in a few months or years? Are they still as dependable and good at getting clothes clean as they were when they were new? THIS is what we need to know. And I am hoping I don't regret my purchase in the future.
So far, the washer and dryer we purchased SEEM to be fine. I am starting to wonder about the cleanliness of my clothes, but I did notice some bike chain grease on a pair of pants which was gone after washing; for now, I am giving the washer the benefit of the doubt. I have no concerns about the dryer; most of my worry comes from the washer which I have heard "doesn't get clothes clean" or "doesn't use hot water" (which I am not too worried about, as I hardly ever use hot water to wash), or that like many front loaders, it gets moldy. Additionally I've read that people have had problems with errors and/or electronics issues...but again, I am going to give the washer the benefit of the doubt. We'll see how I feel about it in another year...

I love how easy it is to use

Really love this washer! I bought it because of how simple it is to use. I have had products with more feaures and never used them so why pay a high price. Great value, quiet, and I love how it sings a tune when the cycle is completed.
