As a single, energy conscious individual I found this washer has all the features I need to clean my wash and save on water.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I have only had this washer for a few hours but I am surprised. I watched as much as I could through the 1st cycle (because this machine is replacing a Whirlpool we bought earlier this week that broke during the first load). I thought that there was no way there was enough water being used. I could not see any excess water swishing around so I became skeptical immediately. When the load was done, I took them out to find they were practically dry! They smelled good but I remained skeptical because that could just be the fabric softener. So for the next load, I waited until it was in mid-wash and I paused the machine and opened it to feel the clothes. They were soaking, sopping, dripping wet! What a nice surprise! So far, the clothes are clean so it is doing its job just fine. The things I do not like so far as the very long cycles. Also, if you read the instruction manual, the directions given to pause the machine are wrong. You do not hit the power button when you need to pause to add a piece a clothing .This stops everything and you have to start all over. Just hit the pause button and wait for the machine to tell you it's safe to add clothes. Also, be aware that if you do pause the machine, it seems to start all over at whatever stage you are at (if you are half-way through rinse, it will start at the beginning of rinse). At least, that is what is seems to do to me. Also, if your model is like mine and does not have the option to do the “afresh” clean cycle, there are no directions in the user manual. I called Samsung (and surprisingly got right through without holding). The representative told me to use “Affresh” with bleach on a hot water cycle after every 40 washes. All in all, for bottom of the line, this machine works great!

Not too many bells and whistles - just right

I haven't had my washer for too long, but I am enjoying. I still can't believe that the small amount of water can get anything clean, but it does!
I haven't been able to really test out energy consumption yet. Also, I'm doing laundry more often but I'm doing fewer loads. Whenever I have a load, I wash it because the regular wash cycle is about an hour and I don't want to spend a whole day and evening doing laundry.
My machine has just enough options and settings. My neighbor has a different brand will all the extras. She has to keep the manual on top of the washer so she can look up all of the codes. That's not for me!
Even though my washer is level, it is loud for about 15 seconds until it balances itself. It doesn't matter what I'm washing or how much. Otherwise, it is VERY quiet. I like it.
