Great Item!

I've had mine for over 10 years now.I never really knew if it was working or not but felt that at least I tried ..Such as sheets when going on vacation. I just looked up the best Sanitation wands and this one came up as first choice. It clarified that this works. So i put my name in to be alerted when they get more. I've used this a lot over the years and it's still like new. with the virus here and people running for disinfect products I feel this just might be safer than inhaling all the chemicals ...But I still bought a case of Lysol..LOL I use this on things like my puppies toys, recliners, couch, my laptop, remote etc.

Good customer service. Received the product on time.
Just used the UV wand around the house and on a hotel stay. It's very convenient for hot spots such as my cellphone, light switches and door knobs and bathrooms. Easy to use and easy for travel.
TWO SUGGESTIONS VERILUX - one, can you address/resolve the battery draw issue? I would like to store my batteries in the device.
Two, can you make a UV lamp or light bulb? I would like to sanitize larger spaces, such as rooms.

probably works but why would a reasonably designed item require you to take out the batteries between use? I should have returned it but I changed residences in the return time frame and forgot about it. So, by accident I did leave it unused for a good while and, as predicted, the batteries needed to be replaced. That's just dumb. I am usually so pleased with Verilux products. I know they will be smart enough to redesign this product. I wish I didn't buy the the first version. Now I'm stuck.

Very easy to use. LIGHT!, so nice to have available to disinfect the phone, laptop and many other devices instead of using a liquid and risk damaging the inside or outside of the device. A must have!

I Think It’s Working?

The whole concept of the wand is great and I want to believe it’s working very well. BUT how do I know it’s actually doing what I think it's doing. Is there a video that shows how to use the wand (I know it’s not a hard concept) in the most effective way? Perhaps some animation would be helpful. Finely, what is the expected life of the wand since the bulb is not replaceable?

This wand uses 4 AA batteries which should be removed when the wand is not in use per the instructions in the box. I wish I knew how long to wave it over items to be sure the time was enough to eliminate germs.
