BEST TV EVER!!!!

We had been "hold outs" concerning buying a NEW HD TV. But, after much research of the various brands, and all the technology available, we decided on the Sharp Quattron. This is the BEST TV we have ever owned, and I guess it was worth the wait.
Pros: superb clear picture, great sound quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

knocked out loaded.after comparing LG's to Samsungs and Toshibas,in LED,landed on the Sharp. All are execellent,however the Quattron in adding Yellow to the RGB mix made all the difference to me.
came from a 42" Regza Toshiba to this one.
only took 2 weeks to dial in the settings for my eyes as opposed to 2 months of tweaking the Tosh.
excellent for the Tosh,but adding LED to the Quattron made it way more better for the Sharp.
selected store over home and went to user to tweak the settings till it looks like 3D in blu-ray and 1080I.

Excellent TV. Picture and sound great, even though we bought a sound bar to go with it.
Some of the menu items were confusing and were the cause of some initial grief. i.e. in the AV mode we found that some modes caused the picture to flutter. We thought it was a bad TV. Geek Squad came out and sorted it out. We were ready to return the set. More detailed use of the menu items and functions would be a great help.
Pros: great picture.
Cons: weak operating manual.

incredible color

having yellow in the "color wheel" makes a huge difference. This tv's color and contrast are amazing. It streams movies from Netflix and YouTube. Extra wide viewing angle ensures everyone has a great seat. I love this tv!,,,,,
Pros: incredible picture for price, sharp quality, aquos links audio w/receiver, perfect size, great sound
Cons: no internet access

I already had a Sharp TV from a few years back. This TV is even better! Wonderful colors and sharpness. It makes watching TV a richer experience.

brand new and broken

I was really looking forward to my christmas holiday in front of the quad pixel tv. It was unfortunately broken right out of the box! So i went to the store and bought a sony instead. Sorry sharp, but you asked for the review. I will say that it is not likely that every tv made by sharp comes pre-broken, so others will have better luck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
