Limited Internet Acess

This is a great TV but isnt as internet ready as its bulit up to be! Ended up buying a Sony Bluray player that allow you to connect to numerous internet sites unlike the very limmited access Sharp limits you too.

Pure and Vivid

The colors are pure and vivid. Brightness and contrast rival the plasma technology, but the picture will not fade like the Plasmas do over time.

LOVE IT

I'll admit that i don't really care about tv's. So when our old t.v. went out and my husband picked this one i didn't care. Until he brought it home and i watched it.... i absolutely love this t.v. The colors, pictures, clarity everything is so much better than anything else I've seen The price is amazing when compared to the quality of the t.v. itself

Beautiful Colors

I was certain I was going to get a plasma this time. My wife and I spotted the Aquos at a local store and couldn't stop looking at it. For some reason it just stood out from the rest.
I know better than to judge a TV picture by how it appears in the store however. So I did some research to see what other buyers had said. It wasn't easy finding good info on the TV but I did. Some people weren't sold on the yellow pixel idea, saying it was a marketing scheme. I decided to buy it, because most reviews praised the overall quality of the set, and I don't regret it.
It is very hard to calibrate by eye! It has tons of options for adjusting the picture. I found some calibration settings on a website done by a very dedicated member, who spent a lot of time dialing in the colors properly. He did a great job, and I think it looks phenomenal.
The yellows will really surprise you. They don't look wrong, but you'll notice people with blond hair, and golden beach sand look so vibrant......and different.
It's extremely thin, has Netflix built in which is awesome. Plays video games on a Playstation with no lag. Overall it's a very nice TV that I'm happy to own.

Pros: beautiful vibrant colors. internet capabilities., extremely thin!
Cons: hard to calibrate!!! find settings on the web or, have a pro do it., wish the remote could switch inputs more easily., a little bit of glare from room lights and sun.

Home work

This is an excellent set. The HD performance is so clear that it makes some shows look like ametur hour at the local community theater. It is simply amazing.
Pros: sharpe as in the name
Cons: home theater sound hard to set up., i can't make the sharpe sound bar work w/ tv remot

my big concern is the tv's bad reviews from the rating mags.i got got this tvv as a replacement for one that only last 4 years.
Pros: best pic ive ever seen
Cons: will it last?
