Great machine except for one major problem.

This machine makes great espresso. The adjustable grind can be fine tuned according to your favorite bean. However, after time it will start leaking water. This comes from a gasket that is poorly placed right next to a heating element. Over time the gasket cracks due to the heat and it’s very difficult to find a replacement. Once you have water in your system (and all over your counter) it’s only a matter of time before you have electrical problems. That’s what caused our machine to prematurely die.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I can't say enough that is good about this machine!! I had a very manual, very basic machine back in the early 90's and this is hands down the best improvement ever.
With everything being done internally, it takes no time to make an amazing drink. This machine is so fabulously simple to use, I can't imagine going back to not having one.
I have truly been missing this in my life!
