Great Price, great quality

I bought this as a replacement for my first home I purchased as the one installed was old and came with the house when it was built. This makes my home look more updated and works as its suppose to. I plan to buy the remaining appliances from Whirlpool soon.

Sleek-Looking Microwave Doesn't Skimp on Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This over-the-range microwave is a great addition to my kitchen. In addition to the usual cook, defrost and reheat buttons, features include a light that can be dimmed to use at night, a dual-speed fan with hidden vent, a cooking timer and more. One of my favorite features is the soften/melt button - no more guessing how much power is needed to melt butter or chocolate. All this delivered with plenty of power in an attractive oven.

When I purchased my stove and microwave a number of years ago, iI had problems with the Whirlpool GOLD. Luckily it was under warrenty. Throuugh the years, I had other problems with it, and the handle also broke off. I did hesitate getting another Whirlpool appliance! This was was the only white ow on display, and I did wat to match my stove. WELL! The handle looks to be more secure for one thing. It is even so much easior to operate,and I can reach it better to clean. I must say, I am better satisfied with this one. A only minor thing-- the stove clock light is a dull green, but the microwave light is a nice bright blue! I sure hope it holds up better than the other one. But,so far, I am really satisfied. I must thank the installers- They were prompt, quick, and neat. Their attitude made me feel comfortable that they knew what they were doing.

Best Ever

After eleven years our microwave "bit the dust" our here in CA. Many advances have been made by Whirlpool that are awesome. My only regret is that we failed to buy a refrigerator from Whirlpool. We've been thinking of taking a loss on that item and replace it with one built by Whirlpool.

Very nice microwave with great features!!

We bought this microwave to reoplace an older, aging one. It really performs well and has great features. As noted in the above rating, the noise level is a little bit loud. It is not so loud to be concerned about, but it is there.
