Works Great!

Splurged on my Range and had to pick a lower cost model of microwave. I ended up with this one and I'm happy with it. I don't use it much, and mostly to warm up my coffee or make popcorn, which the popcorn setting works great! I love the sleek lines and am happy I got the matching microwave to go over my range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This microwave works fine and is relatively easy to use. However, the presets for items such as pizza are not that accurate. I really miss "reheat entree", which heated a dinner plate of food by sensor very well.I also miss being able to just touch 1, and the microwave would immediately run for one minute. This feature was on the numbers 1 through 5. I haven't found the directions for heating and reheating things inside the microwave to be that helpful or correct. All in all, my microwave looks beautiful, but I miss my old one.

OTR Microwave was easy to install

We installed our Whirlpool OTR microwave in a basement kitchen project. We were delighted that the product was as light as it was making it easy to install. It came with templates and all the installation hardware including a damper for outside venting of the vent fan. This unit is perfect for our purposes: popping popcorn and reheating things like pizza. If we had more serious cooking in mind there are upgrades to this product with more powerful vent fans and additional cooking features. Those might not be as light as this one was for installation.
