The microwave is great. I especially like the two light settings and the two fan settings. If we get too much smoke going and set off the smoke alarm the high speed fans takes care of it for us. The only thing I wish was that the controls were a little more intuitive. I don't want to have to get out the owners manual if I forget how to program it. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier.

Easy to use and streamlined appearance

I purchased this as a replacement for another Whirlpool microwave that lasted 13 years under heavy use by a family with boys. This model was easy to install, is beautifully designed and is easy to use and program. The over-the-stove light and and fan are powerful and get used daily. I expect this one will last another 13 years!

Pleasant surprise from on old friend

We haven't had to buy any appliances in a very long time so when our 25 year old microwave finally gave up we went shopping. The Whirlpool name was seen pretty often in our home growing up so we decided to give them a try. Not only is this a very competitively priced microwave but it looks great, works perfectly (and quietly) and was a breeze to install. Thanks Whirlpool!

We wanted a simple microwave, this is great. We broke the handle on our old one and didn't like the way you have to tug because of the clips. This has no clips so easily opens. Thanks love this new one.
