Great microwave!

Does what it is intended to do. This is a replacement model for the one that came w our home. The last whirlpool microwave lasted over 23 years! This model is a great product at a great price. And it has a turntable and more than enough space for any microwaving needs. We are strictly a whirlpool family for longevity of their products. Our washer and dryer were over 20 years old when we replaced them. Refrigerator too. Can't say enough about whirlpool.

Least expensive, but does the job

Before you buy a new M.O. try unplugging the old one for a full 10 minutes then plugging it back in. After I replaced the old Whirlpool (only 4 years old), I plugged it back in while sitting in my garage and it now works. Regarding this replacement, it is a bit louder and has fewer features but does the job. I've only had it 2 weeks so we will see how long it lasts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave replaced our old broken microwave several months ago. It works well and is fairly quiet. I like the hidden vent for a smoother look. The only issue is when the timer goes off it only beeps for a short time. There is no reminder and the clock just comes back. If you have to leave the room it can be an issue.

Easy to use!

I purchased this to replace an LG microwave that stopped heating. The Whirlpool is easier to use and I do not have to worry that when it breaks down I will have to wait an excessive amount of time for any parts that are needed. The LG parts take an extraordinary amount of time to be received. I guess you have to wait until the parts are shipped from Korea for an LG microwave.
