New addition to my Whirlpool "Family"

You might call me a Whirlpool Groupie: I have Whirlpool appliances throughout my kitchen and laundry room! Refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, washer, drier and now my new Whirlpool microwave. I like its sleek and stylish style, especially the stainless handle. The easy to see options on the touchscreen are great and a snap to keep clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far so good. Works good. I should have paid better attention to features though, there are several things I miss that this model does not have. First of all, this model is a step down from my previous microwave. It's not as powerful and leaves about a tablespoon of popcorn seeds un-popped in the bag. 2ond, I miss the one touch buttons where if you wanted to cook for 2 minutes, you just press 2. this models does not have that but I can live with it, just something to get used to. 3rd, pre programed cooking is a pain. Say for instance you want to defrost meat. First you press defrost, then you open the door to look at a printed menu. Once you find DEFROST on the menu, then you have to punch in a number (1,2.3 etc)according to the type of meat, beef chix, fish, ect. Next you have to put in the weight of the meat in pounds and ounces. Next close the door and press start. It works and does what it says, however I think it would be much easier to just enter the amount of time you want to defrost, hit power level 3 and then start. DONE. All in all this microwave looks nice, vents nicely and cooks nicely. As far as function I would recommend this microwave it they don't care too much about features; however for myself I wish I would have purchased the next model up from this. (Yeah I'm spoiled!)Also be careful pulling off the clear tape that this microwave is packed with. Some of the white paint came off in the area of the face plate (when the door is opened) You don't see it when door is closed so I didn't call to complain, just annoying though.

I love all the features especially the melt/soften butter.

I never remember to take the butter out of the fridge to adjust to room temperature so I have really enjoyed the melt/soften feature.

Glad we had someone install it. We were going to do it ourselves but since we're seniors I don't think we could have lifted it up that high. It works very well, for everything. I've cooked, reheated and boiled water.

Great microwave, but could use more features.

This microwave works well. Very quiet. My only request is on my last microwave it had quick cook feature such as 1=1minutes, 2= 2minutes etc.. Not a major issue, but was nice if you were in a hurry.
