this is our 3rd micro-wave in 15 yrs. ... our 1st was still working when we got rid of it after 20+ yrs. of use ... I hope this one last longer ... I really like the easiness of it's use, not a lot of extra buttons not used, just plain & simple which is a plus ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a basic microwave, but it is beautifully designed and that is what i was looking for. I use a microwave for basics such as heating up food, defrosting,etc and this serves my purposes.

Good appliance

I purchased this appliance for two reasons: product name and price. Appliance works well. It heats thoroughly. The defrost procedures seem somewhat outdated for an appliance purchased in 2014. Could use improvements for defrosting.

Replaces an LG that didn't perform well. This Whirlpool Microwave performs great and looks awesome. I have it venting to outdoors and it exhaust well. Features are everything we needed. I rate this five stars!

I purchased this about a month ago and it is very easy to use and has all the functions one wants. I have been using microwaves since 1975. I picked this model for features, style, price and the unit is built with quality materials. I like the door latch as other models seem flimsy and I have had problems with the handles breaking.
I would recommend this to a friend!
