Great look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my house 4 yrs ago and it had the standard hood over the stove.. It was not only wore out but out dated... Obviously the microwave replaced that... Was worried about it being in the way when cooking but its not and looks great!!!!The only problem I've had was installation. Whirlpool nor the place where this was purchased made mentioned that I would need a new vent tube to fit the microwace to outdoor ventilation... Took 2 weeks to finally get that corrected...

There are only two things I would change and if I had known prior to may not have purchased. The first is the lighting, could be brighter and aim more towards the front of the burners, second the fan turns on by itself indicating to hot. Runs to long wish there was a button to stop running this can and is annoying.

I decided to go with a basic microwave because I rarely used any special features on ones I've had in the past. This one was very easy to install and is very easy to use. I like the blue digits. The vent fan does not seem to have enough draw.
I would recommend this to a friend!

As a microwave, this unit works great. New menu on touch pads are very confusing.We vent our microwave outside, so we had to reverse the motor.However it does not create a really good seal inside the unit, so air escapes though the inside vent as well.Hood is not powerful enoughUnit is bulky. It hangs too low and sticks out WAY to far in the front.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
