Not built to last

This unit worked well for nearly 3 years and then died. We replaced the fuse and it worked a few more days and died again. We have now replace the unit with a different brand. We saw many other online reviews citing similar experiences.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice microwave, stopped heating in 2 years

We bought our original in January of 2013, the original unit went out exactly 2 years later. Very nice microwave and for ease of install, we bought the same unit again. I would recommend it, however, I caution you at the same time and recommend getting an extended warranty

More Counter Top Space

I have been using this microwave for a little over a month now. While remodeling our kitchen, we made the correct decision to get the microwave off the counter top and place it over the range. Not only do we have more usable counter top space, we have a microwave that works great, looks great with our new Whirlpool range and vents much better than our previous vent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Finally joined the 21st centery and bought an over the range microwave.I have always liked Whirpool products. We looked at other brands and this one seemed the best. Plus it was at a great price.

Decent Microwave

This microwave came with our new construction house. It takes longer to heat up anything, and I miss some of my more specific reheat options that I had on my old microwave. However, if it takes longer to heat stuff up, it might be better health-wise if it is a lower wattage anyway. Otherwise, it works great. Not a fan of the blue lights for time. Hard to see compared to other appliances.
