This is a good basic microwave

I miss feature like the "30 second" cook,being able to push 1 for one minute, 2 for 2 minutes, etc. Also, the stainless show finger prints too easily. All in all it's a good microwave although I probably would spend a little more for a nice one.

Design concern

Your engineers should take into consideration that some ranges are located next to a side wall! With the door hinged all the way to the left edge, it required me to indent the wall about 1 1/4" for the door to open! It does say in the installation instructions that 6" is required from a side wall to the unit, which is more than necessary. It seems to me that it would be very easy and simple common sense to have a 2-3" stationary panel at the left edge of the unit with the door then hinged to the panel. The door would still be plenty wide enough considering the 30" width of the unit. The wall modification took a lot of time and finish work and if someone would simply have a little foresight when designing these units, it could have been avoided!

I like the Whirlpool over the range Microwave. The only thing I would change about it is that I would rather have an oblong dish that rotates back and forth instead of the round one. The Microwave works great and was wonderful to find since it was the day before Thanksgiving and mine old one went out. The store had this one Microwave in stock and I bought it. I am so glad I did. I have really enjoyed it.
