New Purchase As A Replacement

I bought this unit about a month ago, a replacement for a smaller and vertically shorter microwave we have had for about 20 years. So far it is working just fine. We had trouble getting it installed because it is larger than the old unit which had a mounting bracket at its top. This unit has a mounting bracket at the bottom. Putting the bottom mounting bracket right right at the top of the tile on the wall meant cutting the wood spacer on the bottom of the cabinet above the unit. The original, store installers would not drill into tile to install the mounting bracket nor would they cut the wood above. I brought in the cabinet people to cut the wood on the bottom side of the cabinet, and then the installation went smoothly. This all took an extra week of coordination beyond the day the unit was delivered.

We updated our kitchen and had this microwave installed. It works great. It heats so much faster than our other one. The clock light is bright and doubles as a night light.

Easy Installation

I purchased this as a replacement for a Whirlpool microwave we had for over seven years. It still worked but my wife wanted to change the color of appliances. The removal and install of the old/new took about 20 mins. She is happy with the new look and great products that Whirlpool puts out!
