Easy to install.

Have only had it two weeks, so can't really rate long term performance but it looks good; works as advertised and as I expected so far. It fit the standard opening above my range just fine.The low mounted slip-on flange mount made the installation physically easy. With a little ingenuity did it myself with no helper, perhaps not the recommended method, but not bad for a 70+ old guy.The unit I took off, not Whirlpool, had a mid- height flange with two 7" projections for mounting, much more difficult to deal with.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Over Range Microwave!

Overall i am happy with this microwave. At times though the keypad sticks and I have to input the numbers in more than once

We had to replace our old Whirlpool stove so we added this microwave and it looks great above the stove. Better yet, it was easy to install with step-by-step instructions

I bought this to replace the microwave that came with the house which stopped heating. After a month, we are still very satisfied with our purchase. We have several Whirlpool appliances and have loved them all. We look forward to many years with this one.

High Quality Without Breaking the Bank

This is a great microwave oven. Performs well but is reasonably priced. It looks nice, cooks well, and by the customer reviews, is exceptionally popular. Purchase another brand 6 months ago which died - Learned my lesson - Stick with Whirlpool.

Nice Replacement

We were looking for a unit to replace a GE unit that stopped working. Looked at a number of units with all kinds of features and styles. We finally just determined it would be best to choose one on how we use it instead of how the manufacturer sees us using it. This unit fitted our profile to a tee and would do what we wanted and does a great job doing it so far. There are bigger ones and more options but we expect this one will be with us for many years and it did not break the bank.
