Well worth the price....so far

We just installed this unit and have been using it for about two weeks. It is not fancy but certainly does the job. It is quite. I do not know about longevity yet. Some other reviewer have said they didn't have much luck with it holding up for very long. I'll have to wait and see. I am well satisfied with this product so far and would recommend it too others right now. As I said the price was right for what it is and does.

The first microwave we bought lasted 5 years from the re-building of our house. This one seems to be of improved quality. Replacing appliances every five years is unacceptable and it appears that I wont have to worry about that.

Direct Replacement

Had this exact model for a little over two years. Just after the warranty expired we started having issues with the door sensor. Eventually, it just stopped sensing when the door was open all together, tripped a circuit, and completely died. We wound up just grabbing the same model to be able to re-use the mounting bracket this time around, hopefully we can get some better luck with the sensors on attempt number two with this model. Eventually, we'll upgrade to something a bit better, but for now, this will do.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Entry Level Microwave

Purchased to replace another brand microwave that was only about 2 years old. The prior model handle broke off (the microwave itself seemed to work fine -- aesthetically it didn't look right, though.The new model seems to have a handle that will stand up to more rigorous use.
