Great Product

This unit replaced a Whirlpool Microwave that had been in service for over 20 years, that was still operating, and is a superb product. Works is a whisper and this is what we didn't like about the old one, course it worked fine.

best Microwave yet

This Whirlpool Microwave was bought by my husband as a surprise after our GE Microwave went out after using it a little over a year. The features are great. The melt and soft butter features are amazing due to baking of cakes and breads! Cold dinner plates are heated inside out. I give this appliance a 5 star rating mainly for its performance

Poor quality.

Only reason I bought this appliance is because it is the only unit that fits over my range. It is very basic, and seems to work well.. I have no use for the other buttons, such as pizza or popcorn. The potato button overcooks the potato. I don't know how the defrost button works. Not user friendly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My New Over the Range Microwave

I love my new over the range microwave. It has given me more counter space to utilize, being my old microwave sat on the counter. It has an easy to use menu for what ever you desire to prepare, food, drinks, and more. The product is great, and has a great warranty too. Thank You Whirlpool...

we used to have an Amana micro and it was also a 1000 watt but it would take almost 3 minutes to bring water to a boil. this Whirlpool unit takes less than 2 minutes to bring water to a strong boil. It's very quiet and came with easy to understand instructions so you can read through it once and have down the functions. and the installation manual is easy to see how to install. BUT BE CAREFUL NOT TO CUT THE TOP CARDBOARD COVER FROM THE CARTON IT COMES IN BECAUSE THAT IS YOUR TEMPLET FOR PROPERLY MOUNTING THE BACK PLATE THAT THE MICRO WILL LOCK INTO. IT DOES NOT SAY THAT ON THE CARTON...

Highly recommend this microwave, as it has a lot of great features and a very nice design for not a lot of $$. Installation was relatively easy and microwave works great. Only has one light. but does the job.

Great Microwave

This is my second Whirlpool. The first one lasted ten years. I believe the only reason it shorted out was due to an electrical surge from the power company. Simple to use and well built. Easy to install. Did it myself in 1/2 hour.
