We have found this unit to be easy to operate and performs well. Nice features for cooking and the light and fan are great over the stove. This matches other Whirlpool appliances in kitchen.

1000 watt time saver...

This black microwave replaces a Whirlpool one identical to it, except I think this has a higher power capability. Or maybe the old one was just slowly aging, though still useful, until it just stopped.We use this a lot, but look forward to at least 5 years of faultless performance.

All the features in a superior quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used a lot of microwaves, and this one has all the features I've ever wanted, with a superior build quality. No cheap plastic or anything like that. Just really satisfying, smooth mechanics, easy interface, not to mention much quieter than my last microwave!

Nice Step Above Basic Microwave

I don't like the cost associated with a high-end microwave, as I don't use mine for much more than reheating. I do like my appliances to look nice, though, and this model fits the bill. It adds the nicer look of stainless for a very affordable price. I've found the programmed settings a bit annoying: I can't memorize anything and have to look at the cheat sheet inside the door each time I want to use those features. I like the "add 30 seconds" option.

This microwave has made me so happy. It's the perfect fit. Not only for my cabinets, but also my sanity. My last one was on the counter and in the way all the time. I'm so happy with this new microwave. It was worth the wait.

This model came installed in our new modular home. Initially we weren't going to get the microwave and just buy our own, but am I ever glad we got this one with our home. It is nice a big, fits everything and works very well. And it is very pleasing to look at! We love our microwave and are very happy with the quality!
