Completely Unreliable

The light panel malfunctioned and stopped working within one month of the microwave's installation. To compound our frustration, after waiting over three weeks for the new panel to be installed, the replacement part couldn't even be installed because it arrived broken. Once it was finally fixed, the light stopped working again after only two weeks of use! The repairman said he has seen this problem frequently. There is no excuse for such poor workmanship. Do not buy this microwave! We'll never buy another Whirlpool product again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this microwave several months ago and so far we are happy with our purchase. My husband installed himself without any problems. Seems to heat food evenly and quickly. The only negative is the fan is a bit loud, but works well. It looks very nice and modern. We would definitely buy again.
