This Microwave is a Masterpiece!!!

My brother bought me this microwave when I retired from teaching high school art last May. Not only was it easy to install and a breeze to use, it is a beautiful addition to our Mid-Century style decor. It is definitely a "work of art"!!!

It's fine, but....

This microwave came with the new house we bought, and while it works, fine, I don't adore it. It's not super intuitive to use, and I still haven't figured out how the defrost function is supposed to work. I also don't care for the fact that it turns the vent fan on automatically when it decides I need it (which is annoying when I want to shut it off to enjoy a quiet dinner – we actually have to unplug it).

I love my new stainless steel Whirlpool microwave. It is very easy to sleek and shiny looking in comparison to my old black one. It is very easy to use and the power features are great. It takes much less time for my food to cook or warm up and therefore contributes to energy savings. The sound level is very low. I definitely received more than what I paid for this product and I am very pleased with it.

I actually received this as a Christmas gift. It looks great, was easy to install and I have not had any problems with it. I doubt that I would have chosen this particular model for myself, but since it was a gift, I kept it out of respect for the giver. Features I would have chosen are not on this, such as the ability to stop the turntable, a little more power. One thing I definitely don't like is that the fan is a little louder than I would like it to be.but overall it's a decent product and feels solid - some feel and sound like they are made of plastic. Not this one. I do wish it came with a more comprehensive manual.

Have not had any problems after the first month. There is a really annoying sound/song it plays to let you know your food is cooked. I went to options, sounds, and then I disabled all sounds. When an item finishes cooking, this microwave played a jingle and it was just too loud and too long so I disabled it and now everything is fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!
