Awesome Microwave

we already owned one in the kitchen above the stove, we remodeled the downstairs and added a kitchen and we loved the one upstairs that we had to have another Whirlpool microwave downstairs.

Got this microwave for a great price. Cooks great! Easy to install and has great features for the money. Great stylish look for an updated kitchen.

Very basic oven lacking expected features

Basic oven. Can't turn off turn table. You must remove glass plate, turn it over and place large items in oven if they are too large to rotate. The only one touch button for time is for 30 seconds. ALL basic microwave ovens we have had the past 10-15 years have had one touch buttons for 30 seconds, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 minutes. They have all had the option to turn off turn table. This was installed by the builder in a spec home. Poor choice!

The microwave works perfect except the vent really isn't strong enough to pull back the vapors when cooking on the front burners of the stove. Other than that it is a great microwave.

Works well, but cooking guide NOT user-friendly!

Bought this microwave 3 months ago, and it works well, if you can figure out the settings (defrost, for example). I am very unhappy with the extremely brief "Oven Use" info in the "User Guide"; 6 pages of safety instructions and care, and 3 inches of "Use" instructions! For each setting, it refers you to a label inside the door for a "number code". For instance, "REHEAT, enter number code of food item, quantity, touch START". There are 5 types of food items listed. Most do not fit what I want to do, like warm a roll for 6 seconds. The DEFROST is even worse, giving you only 3 meat types for a code, and you must enter lbs. I haven't gotten it right yet. 49 minutes for half of a lb.?? My 10-yr. old model was easier to use! Whirlpool needs to redesign this feature! Engineers are over thinking this, and it is NOT user-friendly!!

We purchased this as part of a set with a Whirlpool stove. It looks great and works great too. Installation was easy with the instructions included.
