It seams to have a good solid cabinet. Well made and was easy to install. The only thing that I would like to have is lighted panel to program it. Can tell you more after 8 or 9 years.

Good, but not great - see review

While the item looks good and works fine, the problem lies in the details. Having to turn the blower assembly around for wall venting is a minor matter, but having to disassemble the microwave to retrieve the upper cabinet nut and its supposed retaining clip, is a major and upsetting experience. This could have been avoided with a better engineered retaining clip on that nut... I had to resort to taping the nut into place.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recently purchased this OTR whirlpool microwave, and so far really like it. It doesn't complicate itself with too many hard-to-understand features. It's straightforward and practical, with large buttons and display. I like the programmed codes for reheating or defrosting. You just hit a few buttons to pick what you want to accomplish, like defrost 1 pound of poultry, and the microwave does the rest - and it turns out great! We have only owned this product a few months, but everything has been awesome so far.

Efficient and good looking

I bought this a couple months ago along with a stove and refrigerator. I was most surprised with the efficiency and quality of this microwave, especially since it was bought as an afterthought. It is very roomy, and the fan automatically turns on when it gets too hot!
