Clean lines, easy to use, and roomy

This microwave has tons of inside space for heating up even the largest of frozen meats or dinners for large families. The pre-set times are easy to use, and it heats quickly and thoroughly. Its louder than some microwaves, but the beep is quiet, and only two little chirps, not a long, annoying buzzer-like sound.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Microwave for the money

I bought this over the range microwave about a month ago and I am very please with it's functionality and performance. I mainly utilize the microwave for defrosting and reheating foods. It handles these functions quite well and doesn't over cook the foods. I would highly recommend this microwave.

We bought this microwave a few weeks ago and love the look and feel. It didn't have all the bells and whistles that many others had...but we didn't need those. Great value!

Door sensor does not work

We have been using this microwave since June 2014. It will not operate unless it can tell that the door has been opened, and sometimes we leave the door open for 2 minutes before the light comes on inside (our signal that it knows we opened the door). When you take food out of the microwave and shut the door, it will keep beeping at you until you hit cancel, because it doesn't know the door has been opened. If you open the door while it is running, it will continue to run because it doesn't know the door has been opened. We had a tech come to the house and try to fix it, and the door still doesn't work right. I gave it a fair rating because at least whirlpool will send someone to your house, and it does heat up your food well when it works. They must have re-engineered the door sensing mechanism and in doing so completely messed up what would have been a great microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped working after 3 months of use

Started using the brand new microwave in November 2016 and after 2-3 months of use it began having issues. First, the switch for the door quit working. Sometimes, when the door was opened the light would not come on or it would flicker off and on. Sometimes, when the door was closed and you attempted to heat something it would think the door was still open and give you a "door" error. Now it has quit heating food all together. It will run, but when you take the food out it is still cold. Very disappointed in Whirlpool with this product. Even worse they won't replace it, they will only have it repaired. I fear that Whirlpool's quality and the pride they take in their products is following the rest of the undependable brands. They should have stood by their product and replaced it, no questions asked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
