I Like It, But....

I replaced my older Hotpoint with this beautiful Whirlpool. Since the size and features are similar to my old microwave, using the new one was easy. Plus it is very attractive and matches my Whirlpool dishwasher and oven units.Now for the negatives, and why only 4 stars. First, this unit is louder than the one I replaced. Second, and more importantly, this units timer have only gives one "beep". I used the timer on my old unit all the time because it would continue beeping until I turned it off. Since this one only has one "beep" it is useless because I am unlikely to hear that one beep. I am now using a hand-held timer instead.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been enjoying my microwave very much. The Whirlpool product livesup to my expectations. I bought it in white since all my appliances are white.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have other products from Whirlpool that I loved. The builder chose this product for my home. One of the cheaper made products from Whirlpool, will probably purchase a new range. Very small, no rack inside, not a lot of options present for cooking uses.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great look, but fan is loud

Love the overall look and how it works however, the fan is REALLY loud. Yes it is doing the job of cooling down the microwave but also the stove area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace another almost like it. I guess they have improved them since I bought my old one. This one is vented out the top instead of the front which makes it much better. I also like the way the door latches better than the previous one. And as an added surprise, the vent comes on by itself when the stove gets too hot, which is awesome!!
