So far this microwave is doing an excellent job. It even turns itself on(fan) if it's too hot underneath.Not too crazy about the blue light display but other that that it's great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought ours a few months ago and it's worked wonderfully! It heats much faster than our old one and matches our other appliances nicely. I love the "add 30 sec" button :)

Best Microwave yet

I am a kitchen and bathroom specialist contractor. With all the Over the Range Microwaves I have installed, this is the one I put in my house when I bought new appliances. It has all the features I needed and the reheating works great. The food heats evenly, no cold spots and hot spots. Great fit and looks terrific. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this microwave.

My previous microwave finally bit the dust after 12 years. I had no idea what brand to buy. I bought the Whirlpool because it was reasonably priced. It's easy to use and I like the way it looks. I've had it now for a few months and haven't encountered any problems.

useless fan

It's okay if you don't need to use the fan. The fan is very loud but doesn't draw the steam up into it which is a total waste. Condensation forms on the bottom of the microwave & then drips back down onto the cook-top & into uncovered pots/pans. I don't recommend it simply because of this issue. If you aren't installing it over a cook-top, buy something cheaper....
