We replaced our old Kenmore microwave with a new Whirlpool and we love ie. Easy to use and looks great!

no instruction manual

The oven seems to work adequately but it did not come with a detailed instruction manual. The basic cooking function seems clear enough but we miss the express cook features our old GE microwave had. The special functions such as re-heat, melt,power level, and specialty cook are confusing to work given only the guide printed inside the oven door. What order to press the buttons? What to enter for quantity? Why does the "door" prompt display requiring you to cancel and start over? The controls are not convenient to use!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Much faster than our old one

We are very happy with the microwave we purchased. Cooks much faster than the one we had. The only thing I would say is that with the clock timer it only dings once and if you aren't right there you wont know time is up. Otherwise it's a great appliance.

Just what we need

We just needed a basic microwave that didn't cost an arm and a leg. We are not into all the bells and whistles, we just want our good hot and this works and looks just fine.
